| Description | OTTO Environmental Systems North America, Inc. is now hiring for experienced TECHNICIANS skilled in the areas of PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING for our Charlotte NC manufacturing plant.

- PROCESS TECHNICIANS
- MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
MOLD SET-UP / MOLD SETTER / SHIFT TECHNICIANS:
Responsible for efficient plastic mold injection inserts, mold changes, color changes, hot-stamp setup and changes.
• Prepares mold inserts in advance according to Master Production Schedule
• Expedite mold changes and insert changes efficiently and safely
• Prepare new molds for start-up after mold change occurs
• Set up hot stamping machines to produce consistent and quality stamps
• Performs color changes and set-up per product requirements.
Prior experience in Plastic Injection Mold Setup is required
PROCESS TECHNICIANS:
Responsible for the set-up, start-up and operation of plastic injection-molding machines. Sets machine controls and regulates molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
• Establishes and maintains the set points to produce a quality part at the optimum cycle.
• Simple troubleshooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Resets and starts all material and conveyor equipment as needed
• Robot Programming as needed to ensure consistent operation and quality production standards
Prior experience as a Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician is required.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS:
Responsible for set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production quality and safety on equipment.
• Analyzes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and operational problems
• Maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments
• Review production schedule and make equipment changes as needed
• Troubleshoot and test equipment to check operations
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plastic injection molding machines
• Make preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment
• Repair and diagnose problems with support equipment such as cranes, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers
Previous experience as a Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is required
Typical Shifts are 7:00am to 7:00pm or 7:00pm to 7:00am
Shift availability is determined at present need.
Example schedule:
work Monday, Tuesday, off Wednesday and Thursday, work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
following week: off Monday, Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday, off Friday, Saturday and Sunday
